International Conference on Legal Aspects of Migration Management:
Bilkent University Faculty of Law and the Jean Monnet Chair in Legal Aspects of Migration Management in the EU and in Türkiye present the International Conference on Legal Aspects of Migration Management to be held at Bilkent University, Mithat Çoruh Auditorium on 6–7 March 2026.
Bringing together leading scholars and practitioners in the areas of European and international migration law, international protection, migration governance, and private international law, the conference will examine the evolving legal architecture of migration management at different levels.
The program features a keynote address by Prof. Dr. James Hathaway and thematic discussions on migration management in Türkiye, EU migration law, private international law aspects of migration and international protection.
Organized as an activity of the Jean Monnet Chair, the Conference aims to contribute to doctrinal and policy debates on the legal regulation of migration at the European and international levels and to reinforce academic dialogue among scholars.
The Conference is free of charge. It shall be held in person and in English.
