Organized by the Jean Monnet Chair in Legal Aspects of Migration Management in the European Union and in Türkiye, the Migration Talks-V conference was held on the 14th of November, 2025. Paul James Cardwell is Professor of Law and Vice Dean (Education) at the Dickson Poon School of Law, King’s College London. He is also the editor of the leading interdisciplinary journal JCMS: Journal of Common Market Studies. His research focuses on the law and politics of the EU’s external relations, and in particular on migration. He has published widely and is currently preparing a monograph on contemporary EU migration governance and ‘formal informality.’
