Migration and International Protection Law Seminar
As part of the Jean Monnet Chair in Legal Aspects of Migration Management in the EU and in Türkiye, we successfully held the Migration and International Protection Law Seminar on 18 October 2025 at the Bilkent University Faculty of Law.
The seminar provided an in-depth exploration of the international legal dimensions of migration governance, states’ protection obligations, and both international and regional protection regimes. Participants engaged in a comprehensive discussion of current challenges in the implementation of migration law in Türkiye, while also analyzing contemporary judicial decisions and the European Union’s legal framework on international protection.
